
Sarah Baron, MPH, Ed.D, is a public health science instructor at Central Oregon Community College and adjunct professor at Bakersfield College. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies with a focus on public health and a Minor in Spanish from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. Building on this degree, she later obtained a Master in Public Health from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Fresno State University, California. Sarah Baron’s research has included exploring educators’ perceived barriers on using developmentally appropriate practices and community public health challenges. Sarah has 20 plus years in the public health field as a health educator, school district program director, and community development/organizing.
Favorite pastimes are cross country skiing, hiking, and biking with my husband and awesome collie/lab mix Seager. I also enjoy traveling to other countries to learn about the world!
